課程概述與目標

The laws of thermodynamics (especially the classical model) and their applications to chemical reactions, phase transformations, crystallographic defects formation, crystal growth and nucleation, surface and interfacial transition and reaction kinetics will be introduced in this course. It is meant to provide a foundation to evaluate general phenomena occurred in the relevant fields of materials science and engineering.
